Application to the Professional Programs in Forestry and Forest Engineering
The professional programs in Forestry, Forest Engineering, and Forest/Civil Engineering require admission to the junior year based on completion of the required pre-professional coursework with satisfactory grades. Before applying for the professional program, applicants should:
- Review the requirements for admission to the professional program in your major. Community college students can consult our Transfer Guides to determine how your coursework applies to these requirements.
- Be admitted to Oregon State University's Corvallis campus, or have a transfer admission application in progress for fall 2017. Applicants should select Pre-Forestry, Pre-Forest Engineering, or Pre-Forest/Civil Engineering as their major on the OSU application.
- If you are not currently enrolled in Winter '17 classes at OSU, you must provide PDFs of transcripts from any colleges/university you have attended. Please note, this is in ADDITION to the official transcripts you submitted with your OSU application. Current OSU students do not need to provide transcripts of OSU coursework or transfer coursework that already appears on your OSU transcript.
- Provide screenshots or PDFs of the courses that you are taking in Spring '17, and plan to take Summer '17 (if you will be taking summer courses). All pre-professional courses must be complete, and grades updated, by the close of Summer term (September 15, 2017). Degree Partnership Program students must also provide this information with their applications.
PREFERRED APPLICATION DEADLINE: APRIL 17, 2017 (11:59pm Pacific)
