Research Interests & Activities:
Quantitative silviculture/biometrics. Active areas of research include (1) mechanisms of nitrogen fertilization response; (2) Development of an ORGANON module for growth impact of Swiss needle cast in western Oregon; (3) growth of young stands under various vegetation management regimes; (4) stand volume error propagation; and (5) Branch mortality and crown recession modeling in the northern Rocky Mountains.
